Event Schedule:
  • Day 1 (Sept 24): Rooftop Kickoff - 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Day 2 (Sept 25): Meet & Greet - 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Day 3 (Sept 26): Conference Sessions - 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Day 3 (Sept 26): The Baldie Ball - 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Day 4 (Sept 27): Jazz Brunch - 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Check-In & Schedule

Talent Check-In

  • Arrive at least 60 minutes before your session
  • Check in at the Talent Registration Desk (Main Lobby)
  • Pick up your talent badge, materials packet, and green room access pass
  • Visit the green room to test your presentation and meet our tech team

Your Schedule

  • You will receive your detailed session schedule via email 2 weeks before the event
  • Session times are firm - please plan to be available 15 minutes before your scheduled time
  • Most sessions are 45 minutes (35 min presentation + 10 min Q&A)
  • Workshops are typically 90 minutes

What to Bring

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Your presentation on a USB drive (backup copy)
  • Any personal microphone or audio equipment you prefer
  • Laptop/tablet with necessary adapters (we provide HDMI, USB-C, and VGA)
  • Water bottle (refill stations available)
  • Business cards or promotional materials
  • Comfortable shoes (you'll be on your feet!)

Tech & A/V Equipment

  • Projection: HD projector and large screen
  • Connections: HDMI, USB-C, and VGA inputs
  • Audio: Wireless lavalier, handheld, and podium microphones
  • Internet: High-speed WiFi (credentials provided at check-in)
  • Clicker: Wireless presentation remote
  • Confidence Monitor: Available upon request

Tech Rehearsal

Visit the Green Room before your session to test your presentation, sound check, and get familiar with the equipment. Our tech team will be there to assist you.

Important: We recommend testing your presentation the day before or morning of your session. Last-minute tech issues can often be avoided with a quick rehearsal!

Parking

  • Hotel Parking: Complimentary parking at The Westin Buckhead (show your talent badge)
  • Valet Service: Available at main entrance
  • Self-Parking: Located in the hotel garage

Public Transportation

  • MARTA: Buckhead Station (10-minute walk or free hotel shuttle)
  • Rideshare: Designated pickup/drop-off at main entrance
  • Taxi: Available at main entrance

Talent Lounge

  • Complimentary continental breakfast (7:30 AM - 10:00 AM)
  • Snacks, coffee, and beverages available all day
  • Lunch buffet for talent (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM)

Dietary Restrictions

We offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary options. Please email us at talent@baldiecon.com with your dietary needs at least 1 week before the event.

Recording & Photography

  • All sessions will be professionally recorded for archival purposes
  • Recordings may be shared on our website and social media with your permission
  • If you prefer not to be recorded, please notify us in advance
  • Official event photographers will be present
  • Attendees may take photos during sessions for personal use
By participating, you grant Baldie Con permission to use your name, likeness, and session content in promotional materials unless you opt out in writing.

You're welcome to bring business cards, flyers, or promotional items to distribute. A materials table is available in the talent lounge.

Talent Policies & Contract Information

Important: Please review these policies carefully before signing your talent agreement.

2026 Talent Program

  • Limited Talent Slots: We have carefully curated talent slots to allow for deeper engagement and longer session times
  • Early Arrival Policy: Hotel accommodations are provided only for the nights specified in your contract. Additional nights (arriving early or staying late) are at your own expense and must be arranged separately

What's Covered in Your Contract

Your talent agreement will clearly specify what is included:

  • Hotel: Accommodations for the night(s) directly related to your session (typically the night before and/or night of your performance/appearance)
  • Conference Access: Full conference pass for the day of your session/performance
  • Meals: Access to talent lounge meals and refreshments during event hours
  • Parking: Complimentary parking during event days

What's NOT Covered

  • Plus Ones: Guest/companion tickets are not complimentary. This is stated upfront in your talent engagement contract. A registration form will be provided if you wish to purchase a ticket for a guest
  • Travel: Transportation to/from Atlanta (unless specifically negotiated in your contract)
  • Extended Stays: Additional hotel nights beyond what's specified in your contract
  • Meals Outside Event: Dining outside of scheduled talent lounge hours
  • Personal Expenses: Room service, minibar, parking extensions, etc.

Registration & Status Information

Once you sign your contract, you'll receive access to the Talent Hub where you can:

  • Complete your registration form
  • Upload presentation materials and headshots
  • Purchase guest tickets if needed
  • Track your registration status

Registration Statuses:

  • "Not Submitted": You have not yet completed your registration form
  • "Submitted": Your registration is complete and awaiting admin review
  • "Pending": Your registration has been confirmed by an admin and is being processed
  • "Confirmed": Everything is finalized - you're all set!
Please Note: All talent are expected to adhere to the terms outlined in their contract. Early arrivals, late departures, and additional guests must be arranged and paid for separately. This helps us maintain fairness and transparency for all talent.

Code of Conduct

Baldie Con is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.

We Expect All Talent To:

  • Treat all attendees, staff, and fellow talent with respect
  • Use inclusive language and avoid discriminatory content
  • Respect session time limits and Q&A guidelines
  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior
  • Honor intellectual property and give proper attribution
  • Adhere to all contract terms and policies, including accommodation and guest policies

Violations may result in removal from the event and potential exclusion from future Baldie Con events. Full code of conduct available at check-in.
